It has taken me several days to make the parts for Cloud. This is the hopeful period of creation before the firing. Soon I will surrender all of these pieces to the kiln where they may or may not reach maturity fully intact, free of warping or cracking with pieces fitting together as precisely as they did before the trials they face in the kiln. What is necessary for survival can potentially lead to destruction.
